Fit in place and u it is now working. The voltage rating can be higher than the original as long as the mF rating is the same. But always consult a professional if you have any doubts.

I bought this here on 6/2/2021, but I didn't try to install it in time to be able to return it --so that's on me.But my disappointment with it is that the description only gives the package size, not the actual product size, and -- for me -- that just wasn't adequate.I needed to replace the RUN capacitor (GE 97F9614, 40uf, 370VAC, discontinued) for the GE motor (5KCR49TN2235X) on my 1995 Craftsman air compressor (919.152940) [I'm including all these numbers in the hope this may help others with the same products]. Its two capacitors (RUN & START) fit into narrow metal (curved) housings attached to the top of the motor, so I knew the replacement needed to be "skinny". Normally, I'd just search on the ratings (microfarad and voltage), but this time, I added "+97F9614" to be more specific. To my surprise, some of the hits included capacitors that were obviously "too fat". I'd measured the diameter of the original (1-7/8") and, at that time, the only capacitor I found available that had identical ratings (40uf & 370VAC) AND looked like it should fit was this Huarew CBB65.I checked and its "Details" said the "Package size" was just a smidge over 2" &, expecting that meant the product itself would have to be smaller, I bought it.However, UNLIKE the original 97F9614, it turned out that this Huarew is a full 2.0" wide: Just enough wider that it can't fit into the housing (at least not without "re-shaping" the housing!).Disappointing, but I needed to use the compressor at that time, so -- without deciding whether I'd try reshaping that housing or devising a different attachment method -- I went ahead and "installed" it by attaching the two leads from the motor to the capacitor's terminals (letting it just sit loose). When I then turned on the compressor -- nothing happened. So (and after 1st making sure the capacitor didn't have a charge), I tested the capacitor by using the ohms setting on my multimeter & attaching a lead to each terminal -- the display never moved from zero. Wanting to be sure I was testing correctly, I disconnected the START capacitor & -- tested it in the same way -- this time, the multimeter display quickly ran through several different numbers, then settled back at zero. I THINK this means that, in addition to being too big to fit where I needed it to fit, this HUAREW capacitor was bad.Anyway, my big complaint is that Huarew didn't include the actual product dimensions. By only giving the package dimensions, it left me "guessing" about how bid the actual product was.Today, I found another (by Capcom) that specifically says "Replaces GE # 97F9614" and, although it also provides only "Package Dimensions", one dimension is only 1.8", so I'm hopeful this one will fit. But Capcom, too, should include actual product dimensions.
