just make sure you grip the match near the head when striking it, but after that, it works like a good match should.

Great for getting our stoves going on the cold nights. Box is a little flimsier than I would have hoped, but only 2 of the matches have broken when we tried to light them so that is good. Works well.

The manufacturer changed the boxes from 50 to 40, so they give you 13 boxes - 520 matches! Wow, actually getting more than what you asked for!These are the same thickness as the large kitchen matches, so they burn nice and slow as well as allowing a good reach for fireplace or barbecue. I use my seal-a-meal to vac-pack each box, that way I don't have to worry about "damping-out" during the year(s) it may take to use these all up. You won't find a better deal than this bulk buy.
