The shape and color is really pretty and looks great in a lot of different positions. I love that you can see that it is an embroidered applique and not just a cutout.HOWEVER, it is NOT iron-on. At best, this product is iron-baste, holding it's position only long enough so you can sew it on with a machine. I didn't mind because I have experience sewing, but someone who doesn't will find this product unusable. The good news is, the light adhesive doesn't gum up your needle or hurt your machine, so it is very unproblematic to stitch on, especially if you use a free-motion applique foot.

I bought these to add to a skirt for my Halloween costume I ironed them onto the fabric but several areas did not stay on even after a second ironing..had to glue some of the areas down..but very nice quality pieces.. they look great on my outfit
