This replacement ink for our HP printer works very well but you should note that IF you signed up for HP automatic ink service then this ink will not work. That info is on the product instructions but should be in their advertising and product description.

*** DO NOT BUY! ****** DO NOT BUY! ***DOES NOT WORK WITH HP 6000 SERIES PRINTER!!!In spite of assurances that it would, it doesn't. good ink for price, does not smudge, it does it job, and it fits perfectly with the printer

The quality of ink seems the same as the more expensive brands. I use a lot of ink so this saves me money without losing quality or length of use.
