One of the batteries did stop charging but they promptly sent a replacement and it works great! Battery life is comparable to the Sony batteries.

UPDATE:The customer service at artman is top-notch, they did everything in their power to right the situation and they sent me replacement batteries asap. Customer service is everything and this company took care of me. Thank you very much to everyone at Artman!I was enticed by the mAh, I was enticed by the battery life, I was enticed by the price, I WAS ENTICED.I took delivery, charged up, took less the 200 photos throughout the day and battery was at 15% (mixture of live view and viewfinder use)."Okay" I thought, "lets load up the second battery". Oh, what's that? It doesn't work AT ALL? Shocking.Annnnnd returned.

First, let me say that this battery crazy sometimes. Also, I had this battery for a couple of months now and I used about 5 to 7 times for both batteries. This battery is decent when it works. That is the reason why I gave it 2 stars.I also updated my camera to the latest firmware. Now, let's talk about the battery starting with the charging. When you charge the battery everything works fine but when you start using it that is where the problem starts. Also When it is fully charged it always says around 95% or 90% max. I can never get to 100%. That wasn't a big problem though. I just want it to work for at least 5 to 7 hours. But it didn't make it at all. I can't even rely on this battery when I travel. I ended up buying a different brand and it was better.Another issue that I have with the battery is the auto shutdown, I was at 40% of the battery and it just shut down my camera for no reason. Did anyone else have that problem?Update 11/10/19So Artman customer service contacted me and asked me if I want a replacement for the batteries. I didn't expect them to contact me at all, but I glad that they did. We talked for a week and they sent out a set of new batteries for me. Shipping was really fast and I received the batteries in 2 days after. They also told me that batteries' problems have been fixed so that is the reason why I accepted the replacement.I recently tested out the new batteries and it works wonderfully without any problems at all. There was no auto shut down, which was great. All the problems listed on the top was fixed. I'm very happy with their customer service. I changed my rating from 2 stars to 5 stars. Thank youI will update if there any other problems.

I've read about third party batteries giving an error message on the A7iii, but not so with these. That was my biggest hesitation, and I'm happy to report that it's a non-issue with these.I'm not really bothered that Sony pulled a very uncool move by not including a charger with the camera. (Even the supplied USB cable is lame; it's too short to be of any use, and it's micro USB, for crying out loud... what year is this, Sony? And who wants to leave their $2000 camera in a precarious place for hours, where it could easily fall or be tripped over, because the cable is so short, just to charge the freaking battery?)Nope, I'm not really bothered by that. I'm amused at how extraordinarily stupid Sony could be about such a decision, because they're giving you a multitude of reasons to go shopping for non-Sony, third party products. You asked for it, Sony, and you got it. Rather than spend 80 bucks on a single Sony battery, and STILL have no charger, I paid $55 for TWO Artman batteries, and a dual charger, which, by the way, charges the Sony battery just fine too. I'm incredibly happy I found this product, and I have Sony's boneheaded management to thank for providing me with the motivation. I can one thousand percent guarantee that some marketing middle management committee at Sony spent months talking amongst themselves about how if Apple pulls these kind of anti-customer moves without it diminishing their cult status, why can't we? It's like companies today go out of their way to see how much the customers will put up with. Yeah, okay, I'm ranting, but I'd never even think of doing so without receiving such a substantial finger flipping from a company that makes consumer products.Anyway, I don't think there's anyone in the world that doesn't know that all kinds of electronics, including the top brands, are made in China, many in the same factories; I have no idea if Artman batteries are made by the same people that make Sony OEM batteries, but c'mon, who'd be surprised if it was so?But enough about Sony's boneheaded marketing department. Let's talk about the Artman option.Like most people probably do, I researched the battery issue on all the blogs, forums, and Reddit entries, along with slugging it out on YouTube, trying to glean a speck of usable information out of dozens of dumb opinions. And out of the tiny handful of usable tidbits I found, none were current; I found exactly one with any mention at all of firmware version 2.1, and zero about firmware 3.0. Ultimately, the only remotely usable info I got was a list of third party battery brands that had exhibited problems-- and all that info was anecdotal & unscientific, which means it's next to worthless.Nonetheless, I set out searching for an alternative that DIDN'T include the alleged problem brands.I'd like to say my crack research skills netted me the best result, but the truth is, I was so completely frustrated with the lack of reliable info that I just backed into the Artman option out of dumb luck. The benefits of their advertising on Amazon, I guess. So as much as I'd like to take credit for being the super shopper, frankly, I just got lucky (for once). Now if you've read this far, you're probably in the same predicament I was, and you're about ready to blow your top, trying to find a good solution, and not finding any up to date reviews, especially about firmware version 3. Well guess what? I'm writing this for you: buy this one.Do the batteries last as long as the Sony OEM batteries? What am I, consumer freakin reports over here? I don't have a scientific lab to test such things, I'm just a guy. My impression is that these actually hold a charge BETTER than the Sony OEM, but I could be completely full of it. Do they have as long a lifespan? No idea whatsoever; I just got 'em a couple days ago. What I CAN tell you is that when it comes to all metrics by which you'd measure battery performance, I can't tell a difference between these and the original Sony battery. At all. And you won't either.Plus, you don't have to plug your camera into the wall anymore. And the charger works in the car as well. This is the one. Buy it.

These aren't Sony-branded batteries, but they're a lot less expensive than their Sony counterparts, especially in India. They work fine so far after multiple charges. But you will get a warning message on your Sony camera - at least I did on my Sony A7iii. It basically said that using this batter could cause damage to the camera, and I had to click okay before continuing to the menu system after I loaded the battery in for the first time. Am I worried about this? No. I've used third party batteries in my A6000 for over a year and had no issues.
