Good little box. Makes trailer wiring much neater and easier. Will probably get one for my other trailer soon

This is a significant upgrade for my Vintage travel trailer,I have been re-storing and the original wiring trailer connectors need replacement,So an upgrade was the best option.So this harmess allows me to connect to modern vehicles allowing me the option to charge batteries, electric brakes and even back up lights, the old 5 pin did not.So I highly recommend using a these harness,Will always give options to upgrade vs use older connectors that might fail,In case I damage this connector is easy to replace with a new one that is sealed.Also it’s budget friendly.

I had a trailer wire drag on the ground and burn off. I was concerned about how to reconnect and be water tight. This solution was perfect. The 4ft length is overall for product. While it would be nice to have an extra nut on each post, you can simply loosen and install a u shaped connector underneath vs a full circle one. For my trailer, the colors were correct, but I did test them to make sure it matched my trailer. Note that it does not include any mounting screws for the box.

Two things.1st wiring colors dont match but that is no bug deal. All that matters is that you connect the correct wire to the signal wire even if they don't match.2nd I don't know if my receptical is smaller than normal or if this plug is just a hair too big. Because as it came in box I could not get it to slide into receptical on truck. It was exactly the same size but since it has a rubber jacket around plug it would catch and buch up and no matter how I angled it it would not slide in.How I fixed this issue was I used a very sharp knife and trimmed the edge of plug to make a bevel so it would not catch as I pushed it in. Now it goes in easily and very snuggly.
