We have a lot of windows and I have ordered many of these shades. The room darkening is better than the light filtering just because the vinyl is not as thin. Just make sure you measure them correctly before tearing them down to size. If they get wound too tight or too loose, there are directions on how to adjust that. Just make sure you read that and maybe keep a copy for future use. We have both the room darkening and the light filtering versions and like i mentioned are happier with the room darkening for functionality. We bought these because, again, we have a lot of windows in the home we purchased and value was important to us.

These were replacement shades so I didn't need to install hardware. But, they were very easy to cut and install on existing hardware. I matched the size up to an old shade which made it much easier.

Blinds and shades can be expensive but these shades are a good value for your money! I actually cannot believe they worked just as the description said they would. Easily customize the size to fit your window. They’re not fancy or high quality but they work GREAT and easy to install! Good shades on a budget!

Para una ventana de mi oficina, sin embargo necesito otras persianas mas anchas y menos largas pero no me deja preguntar al proveedor si tiene en otras medidas

First one I receive took a few minutes to install works great. Trimming wasn’t too hard. Received the other one I ordered a few days later had a big dent in the centre of the metal tubing must of happened in shipping. I ended up cutting off part of the tubing and making it work.
