The Aux port in our 2008 Honda CRV died several years ago. I finally set about replacing it with this one. It fit perfectly and works great.

Took about 3 minutes to remove the old connector and install this in my 07 CRV.

Super simple to replace this unit - bless Honda engineers! Basically, remove two screens from a console cover at the underside rear of the console. Unplud old unit. plug in new unit. replace screws and viola.

I ordered this part to replace the original Part number Honda 39112-SMA-003 for my 2010 Honda CRV, The connection to my original Aux audio port had gotten so bad it would no longer allow me to connect my phone and listen to my audio books while driving. After replacing the bad one with this all is working well. The spring on the cover is a bit weak compared to the original Honda part, but I am ok with that. This part was 1/5 the price of a Honda original part and I am happy. Removal of the original was easy. My Aux audio connector is located on the center console or table. Access to remove/disconnect the AUX Audio housing is accomplished by removing plastic cover underneath the table. Then you have access from the rear so that you can pinch the tabs on the side of the connector housing so that you can push it out. Reinstalling is simply do everything in reverse. Save your self some money and enjoy the audio from your phone or other devices again!

This seems about as sturdy as the OEM part, but the cover popped off after about 5 days of use. My old jack lasted intact for 14 years and it probably didn't need replaced, but I was trying to troubleshoot the easiest, cheapest parts first. Since I already threw away my original part, I will keep this as it does work and many Honda owners said that the cover put stress on the port when a jack was plugged in.If I have to replace the port in the future, I am not likely to reorder.
