These are of much better quality than I expected; threads are ground pretty precisely, and the material, while not heavy-duty, is fairly substantial. There really is no need for heavier ones, as there is no need to take them on and off more than once. They work fine.

These are pretty essential to have in your kit. Especially helpful when mounting larger setups on dovetail plates. Gives you flexibility to mount/match the 3/8 holes with 1/4-20 screws.
