Higher quality than I expected! It's got some weight to it, which I like - it is not cheap plastic and does not feel cheap. The rubberized grips are excellent for sweaty hands, and the length of the strap is perfect. I love the % indicators on the strap, but if you didn't like that then simply flip it around and the back side is blank. It does come with an extra blank strap as well. The center piece that the strap rolls up into is metal, not plastic which I appreciate. It feels like it will last a long time.In my home workouts this is a pretty versatile tool. I like to attach 25-30lbs, roll it up, and use it for bicep curls. The fact that the weight isn't totally stable (because its on a strap) engages more of your small stabilizing muscles. When used as advertised, it will never get old or too easy. Starting with just 2-4lbs is all you need to get a great forearm workout for beginners. Most of all I love that with the caribiner (which is quite high quality itself) you aren't limited to just hanging weights. You could fill an empty milk jug with water and attach it, or literally anything else. Awesome product!

A wrist roller, while ultimately a simple device, is still more complicated than, say, a dumbbell. You can improvise a wrist roller in various ways (I once made one out of a length of bamboo and some standard cord), but it's nice to have one that is smooth, easy to load weight onto, and is comfortable and effective to use. This one fits that criteria well. First of all, it has a slightly thicker than usual diameter to the handle, at 1.77". This not only makes it more effective, it actually makes it more comfortable to use than one with a thinner handle. I got this one to replace one with a thinner handle that I simple wasn't too inclined to use because it just wasn't too comfortable to use. The bigger reason than the handle diameter, though, is the handle material. While I would prefer steel, this one is a hard, slightly tacky plastic. It's an upgrade over my thinner-handled one, which has a rubber grip to it that provides a lot of friction and thus burning when used. This FitBeast roller burns maybe slightly with extended use, but it is not uncomfortable. A little gym chalk will probably make it nil. Of course, I said that about the previous one, too, and I just never was enthused to break out chalk or wear gloves with it. Hopefully I'll use this one more.As for loading weights, it works really well with a loading pin, of course. They don't include one, which is fine with me because I have like three of them already. I also tried this with a kettlebell and my rucking backpack (works great). I also attached a heavyish dumbbell. That works, but you have to make sure it is centered and realize that it may tip during roll up. They also include an extension strap for loading bigger objects like water jugs or something. I haven't tried it, but they include a booklet that shows how to use that and the device and the different exercises you can do with this (basically wrist rolls, wrist curls, arm curls - all regular and reverse). Using the extension strap is simple enough. As for rolling up and down, it is smooth and steady, with no twisting. They mark the nylon strap so you can see what percentage of it you have rolled up or down. It's not really necessary, but it's an interesting little motivational device and helps keep you locked in.

I've had a wrist roller before - this one differs in that the handles are much thicker. This is good for testing and improving your grip. It is focussed on grip and forearm strength, but helps with core and shoulder strength too.You can attach this to the weight of your choice. I've tried it with a kettle bell, and an Olympic plate (which has grip handles). I also tested on the weight stack of another forearm accessory (see photos) - and this is probably the set-up I like the best. The listing mentions attaching this to a dumbbell - I wouldn't recommend that personally. The main exercise is rolling the weight up and down - which you can do clockwise/anticlockwise, or anticlockwise/clockwise. An extension is included, allowing a greater distance of roll/unroll. Starting the exercise with your arms raised or lowered puts the emphasis on different parts of your arms and shoulders. You can also use this for curls and raises - with the thick handles adding a bit of difficulty. Doing these with the cable wrapped short makes you use your grip to fight against it unrolling - which makes it even harder. This is well made and feels like it will go the distance. I have a garage gym set up at home and this is a welcome addition for a bit of variety in exercising.

This item is very well-priced and a great forearm builder. The materials used are very premium and great, especially considering its price. The handles are grippy and very thick. The thicker handles would work your forearms more which is a good plus. The belt is very dense and sturdy and can easily carry a lot of weight without any fear of tearing it.The item also claims it's good for biceps and such which may not be possible to perform comfortably as the strap will shake back and forth. The extension works well and can help to attach to the holes of plates. The clip at the end is also very secure and can handle enough weight more than what any forearm can cope with. The item will make as a great gift for a gym enthusiast. The item was packed well and a clear set of instructions were provided. I am happy with this item and it is great value for money. I would recommend this.

Gotta be honest, I wasn't completely sure what I was even getting here. But it's exercise gear, and I figured it would be a nice addition to my workout gear. Damn... this is nice. It's just a bar that you can use- think curls and the like- with a strap that you can use to hand a weight on. I used a small kettlebell and gave it a try. It definitely works! The nice thing is that the strap has markings, which (I guess) tell you how much of the extra weight you're actually using. (I just got it today, so sorry if I'm not completely sure how it works). The less you unwind the strap, the less of the actual weight. Cool! The one tiny little complaint I have is that it would've been nice if there was a pouch of some sort to store it in. But that's a minor quibble, and I'm sure I'll find one lying around someday.
