I needed this pan. I bought the stainless set, but the pan that came with it is 3qt, and that just isn't quite big enough for some of the recipes I want to cook. This one fits everything I want, with room to spare. I have seen the other reviews, and have to say, there is a bit of a learning curve to cooking with stainless, but once you "get it", you'll only use it (or your cast iron), ever again. First, you want MEDIUM heat, not low, nor high. Second, give the pan time to come up to temp - say, five minute or so. And learn the "skitter test". Drop a few droplets of water in the pan and they "skitter" over the surface, not just sizzle. And a little oil, it doesn't take a lot. I have no problem with stuff sticking, occasionally some stuff does, but not a lot, and it's never major. One thing people people with stainless need to learn, "Barkeepers Friend" is also YOUR friend. It takes off any stains, scuffs, marks, etc. It is also recommended by most stainless manufacturers. Once you have all this down, cooking with these is a breeze. Even heating (if you haven't warped your pan), non stick pans are cooking up great meals in your kitchen!

I’ve been using the ALPHA LIVING Splatter Guard for a while now, and I can’t recommend it enough. It’s the perfect size at 13 inches, fitting most of my frying pans and pots. The stainless steel construction feels sturdy, and the red handle is comfortable and makes it easy to lift and move. I love that it keeps hot oil from splattering all over the place, saving me from burns and keeping my stovetop clean.Cleaning is a breeze—just toss it in the dishwasher, and it's good as new. Whether I'm frying bacon, sautéing vegetables, or cooking anything that splatters, this splatter guard is now a kitchen essential. It’s one of those simple tools that makes a big difference in my cooking routine. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a mess-free, safer cooking experience!

We use this primarily when cooking meat on the stovetop, mostly burgers/ground beef and some bacon. I also use it to cover the top of my lidless saucepan when I make pasta sauce or any other sauce/soup/thing that when bubbling will splatter all over the stove. It does a good job with reducing splatter. Definitely happy with the purchase! I put it in the dishwasher and it’s easily cleaned by that, but it was immediately stained after one use, I guess from burnt on oil. So it never looks clean again after the first use, but it is clean, so it’s fine.

This is an extremely sturdy splatter cover. It’s quite heavy because it’s so sturdy. Most types of these are rather flimsy. Not this one! It’s built to last. I also believe it’s dishwasher safe, but haven’t tried that yet. Another feature are the legs that are attached in a unique way. See the picture on the site. The curved wire attached to the screen are an actual way to rest it in the counter so you don’t get sauce or grease on your counter. The splatter guard rests on the wires mounted to the guard! A great feature. I love this splatter guard for pans. It is built to last at a reasonable price and fits all pans that I have. Many of these guards are 10 or 11”, this one fit the bill for me!

I really wanted a large but well built pot for making pasta and other dishes. I cannot exactly justify dropping big bucks on All Clad or another high end brand but liked the look, construction, and price of this.It has been wonderful and it is truly made well. Heats evenly and the lid is great. I need to have a glass lid as I'm nosy and like to peak at my food lol. The best part is that I can scrub by hand or toss it in the dishwasher and it cleans easily. Seriously a great well-built alternative to super high end brands at an affordable price.

Unlike in the listings picture, you should put it on the pan with the legs up so that you can flip it over to put it on the counter.

I love it Although the price is bit too high but the quality and design worth it all. Highly recommended if you are looking for a pot for daily use the size 1.5qt is good for 1-2 pack of instant noodle

I just received this pot so cannot comment on durability, but I've used it three times (1)making tofu (2) blanching vegetables (3) making vegetable broth. What I've found so far is that it heats evenly and quickly, Cleaning was a breeze. In response to those who complained about white spots remaining after washing, or a blue haze: this is a natural phenomenon common to all stainless steel pots. It is a function of the hardness of the water (mineral content) and the detergent used. It's easy to correct. After washing and rinsing, pour a small amount of white vinegar into the pot, add an equal amount of water. Let sit for an hour (depending on the hardness of your water more time may be needed). Use a soft scrubee or brush, rinse with plain tap water, and white spots will be gone.
