The Matt has a good weight and thickness which makes it quite durable for holding the set and/or equipment.It doesn't seem the fanciest looking but the material holds up and cleans well after treading on it with dingy shoes.It does the job with a plentiful area of coverage.

I am not happy with this mat at all. It is way to thin and very low quality. It came folded up in a small square because it was so thin. When I unfolded it, I found that there were a lot of creases and couldn't get it to go flat. I did try to use it and see if they would go away but they didn't. It also slid all over the place.I will say this, the one I received doesn't look anything like the pictures, so maybe I got the wrong one. I do know that one I got is junk and I threw it away. If the one I got is $30, then it's way overpriced.

I had my drum set sitting on my carpet and wanted to get this mat to help keep the set a but more stable. The mat itself is a good size for the smaller set that I have. If you have a larger set or more pieces, then you'll want to get a larger mat. The mat is thin, but feels like it's good quality. The design on the bottom helps with the non-slip part. I've placed this on my carpet and it's staying pretty secure. It would be better on non-carpeted floors, but does work on the type of carpet I have. The folds do take some time to get out, but it's expected based on the price point that this is at. This is a good mat for your amature drummer and would recommend it.

My son has both electric and an acoustic drum kits, but the pedals for the electric kit kept sliding. This drum mat solves that problem. It's the perfect size for a standard kit and it keeps everything from sliding. It feels well made and durable, and looks sharp under the drum kit. It serves it's purpose well. This was a great addition to my sons kit.
