Just a great product to have around. Self armoured, so it doesn't get smashed kicking around on a motorcycle, self contaned, so there isn't buts everywhere.Tested against my Fluke multimeter, it's reasonably accurate. Certainly enough to diagnose and repair problems on the side of the road. Maybe a little tough to do communication diagnostics, but that's beyond scope of what I use it for anyways.

I keep this meter in my motorcycle for emergencies. It is compact and works quite well. The leads are a little short and the hinges are a little finicky, but it does the job. Good value for the price.

It works and it's compact enough to fit in my pocket. It's more than enough for my needs but if you need to use it frequently, that may not be the best tool for you.The cover is indeed fragile and I can see why some people may break it trying to open and close. To close it, you need to move the hinges close to the body before actually closing the lid. The lid needs to be above the edge of the body, it won't snap into position as we are used to in any other device. If you force it, it will break.You'll also need to open the thing with a screwdriver to remove the plastic from the battery. This is actually a good thing and ensures that you get a good battery. It literally takes just 2 minutes. Usually I prefer tools that use simple AA batteries but this one is almost as thin as an AA.
