Fits very nicely on the space in front of the instrument panel. Pretty flat, but does obscure the odometer and mileage range. Non-stick on the bottom helps keep it in place. I have a GhostTek cover on my phone. The charger not only works fine, but the magnet grips the phone. Nothing moves while I am driving. Not sure how it would do on a vertical surface, though or on a really bumpy road. Pad itself is not much larger in diameter than the phone itself so easy to place. I got the 3M cord and it just barely makes it to the center console port. 3M seems like a lot until you start trying to tuck it away to hide it. Hey guys, how about a 4M cable to be really sure it will reach? I can buy an extender, but hate doing that. Haven't checked charging time, but if I am using it, then it means I will be in the car for a while. Anything to keep up with the CarPlay nav battery drain is fine by me.

Pros:- Strong magnets keep the phone securely in place- Efficient 10W wireless charging with a 12VDC socket- Easy to install and use- Works great with Apple Wireless CarPlayCons:- Requires 24VDC socket for 15W charging- Permanently attached cable can be difficult to hide for an uncluttered installInsights:The REESTECQI Magnetic Wireless Car Charger Pad is an excellent choice for iPhone users. The strong magnets (MagSafe design) ensure your phone stays in place, even on bumpy roads. While the 10W charging with a 12VDC socket is efficient, you'll need a 24VDC socket for the full 15W charging capacity. One drawback is the permanently attached cable, which can make achieving a clean, uncluttered installation a bit challenging. Since CarPlay uses a lot of battery power, it's nice not to have to plug in the iPhone to charge it. Overall, it's a reliable and well-designed charger that makes in-car charging convenient and hassle-free.

There are some who say they’ve had issues with this charger. I can’t fault it. I’ve been using it for about 4-5 months and it’s worked perfectly. It charges quicker than my other car chargers. Naturally, it can get warm in summer and the charging will stop until the phone cools down. This is expected of any fanless charger. It’s installs easily and looks great. Very good value for money

My car came with a Qi charging pad as do many brands of automobiles these days. But - all iPhones manufactured for the last five years have raised camera lenses. That means the phones do not sit flat on a Qi charging pad which causes the phones to overheat. Overheating reduces your battery life forcing you to trade in or pay for a battery replacement. This pad has a raised MagSafe charger on a phone sized pad. That means a more direct charging contact, saving the life of your battery. I found my phone charged faster using the cigarette lighter plug than using the direct A or C USB ports which tend to be lower power. The bottom of the pads is a slightly sticky material to hold it in place and has tapes to permanently hold it in place if you wish A vertical mount will probably work because the MagSafe magnet is strong. The cord is long enough to use but not overly long, leaving a mass of wires. It has a charge indicator light on the cord which tells you if your phones is charging.Other similar products are flat Qi chargers, which will overheat your battery or they have obnoxious lights. If you have CarPlay or Android Auto, this is essential for your car, unless you have a new Hyundai which has a Qi pad with a raised section in the middle.

Got this instead of the more expensive model of my car that comes with the built in wireless charging pad. Randomly stopped working after 6mo. I don`t mind to buy another one since this device saved me the 6k difference in car models.
