Okay there's a lot you should know. First thing there are a lot of people talking very badly about this product it's just like any other Bluetooth speaker the only difference is you get an extreme amount of value for your money I have an exos 9 I have a Brooklyn boombox I've had Diamond box I have a tri-bit storm blast I also have a sound core motion boom plus. This thing ought to be against the law this thing is ridiculous the Hope star a80 this thing scares me I can get it I can't get mine over 40%, it's just ridiculous put an EQ on your phone to tailor the sound and it does even more the base you can feel it from across the room. I don't know if it's going to last 5 or 10 years but I do know the battery can be replaced JBL can't. I'm not going to knock any Brands because contrary to popular belief JBL boomboxes are all so made in China and Mexico so for all the people saying hope Stars just another piece of junk JBL is made in China so there you go I picked this up on Amazon at a very good price I paid $198 tri-bit storm blast can cost more depending upon where you buy it the speaker is painfully loud the base is ridiculous I don't know what they did but they definitely put some amperage in it you can turn this thing to about 50% and it will start walking I think they need to possibly do something because that's the only drawback this thing gets loud enough it will walk literally I've never heard of Bluetooth speaker put out this amount of sound and it's not even broken in yet. For anybody on the fence purchase it if you don't like it you can always return it but I think this may possibly be a JBL Boombox killer I can't say for 100% sure because I'm not going to spend that kind of money on a Bluetooth speaker and besides I just don't like the design of the JBL boombox it looks like a pup and a blanket anyways anybody interested I would definitely purchase I know sound I have sound in my car sound in my home and this thing is ridiculous the amount of sound it puts out I can't get it over 30% volume not out of the box you have to actually put an equalizer in your phone to tone it down if you play this straight out of the box it is ridiculous and I do mean ridiculous it's a very loud speaker and it will piss off your neighbors and you will have your parents banging on your door

I grew up appreciating deep base players. This system allows me to enjoy deep bass instruments, even at low volume. I gave it five star.

The Hopestar A80 sounds amazing super loud and clear, really great for parties or just blasting music anywhere. But the charging setup is honestly a letdown. For a 350W speaker, it’s kind of ridiculous that it uses what feels like a phone charger. With my JBL Boombox 3, even if the battery runs out, I can just plug it in and keep the music going. But with the A80, once it dies, that’s it you’re stuck waiting for it to charge back up. It’s a great speaker, but the charging situation definitely needs an upgrade.
