As requested. These pumps are amazing.

I have ecoworthy type orange submersible pump, (they are all the same with different brands) pumping up over 50 ft in elevation and it pumps 275 gallons in about 5 hours on 2 100 watt solar panels directly wired to the pump. I'm doubling them up to increase speed and installing a float switch for automatic shutoff. I have run it dry for days and didn't notice any difference but I did burn one up by forgetting to open a valve for a whole day so it just pumped against itself. I have used it to run a hose with a spray nozzle for washing cars and equipment and it handles fine using the shut off for short periods of time. In that application I am using one 100w panel on a sunny day or a 12v battery charger on 2 Amp, which is over twice what it's rated for. It can be wired through a pressure switch as well so with a battery and solar you can have a constantly pressured line. I recommend using a backflow valve to keep the pressure off the diaphram.

Only used once to trial setup but seemed to work fine. Can't comment about the long term use but if it lasts a few years topping up a cattle trough then it was well worth it.

Update: I have been using this pump for a year now and this pump never misses a beat. It runs on average 2 to 3 hours a day keeping my tank full and providing water for my home. It’s a real peace of mind not having to worry about waking up to no water.I bought this pump because I have a shallow well with a static water level in a normal year at 13 feet. I have been using a jet pump to pull water from my well for years but recently with the last few years being drought years the water table has dropped to 21 feet. Jet pumps pull to fast for my well to recover and ends up causing the jet pump to loose it’s prime. I set this pump at 28 feet down sitting only 2 feet off the bottom and I’m powering it with a 600 watt 50 amp inverter (total overkill) and am using it to pump into a storage tank and it’s pumping at about 2 gpm from the well. I have the inverter switched by a float in the tank so it automatically turns off when the tank is full. This pump is working beyond my expectations and I would recommend it to anyone who has shallow wells.
