Two important notes for the TLDR:This hose is thicker than the original. I had to purchase a universal hose weight at the orange box store because the old weight wouldn't fit.Also this hose is shorter (by maybe 6-8 inches) than the original. This is perfect for my sink, but if you need the extra length, you may be disappointed.Twist it while pushing it through the faucet to get it past whatever sticking point you may find.Over 10 years ago, I purchased the Lillian faucet from American Standard at the orange big box DIY store. It's been a great faucet. The last couple years, the hose has been kinking frequently and last week I noticed was actually leaking. A search on American Standard's site showed that the replacement hose was available but would take several days to arrive. I found it here on Amazon (also sold by American Standard) and ready to ship the next day.I found a replacement video for all American Standard faucets online and that was very helpful in knowing how to disconnect the old hose (push the plastic sleeve up, then just pull the hose out). I saw multiple videos of similar installations that made it seem that you could just thread the new hose backwards through the faucet. Mine kept getting stuck. I found that just twisting it while I pushed it helped it get past whatever it was stuck on. Reconnected and it's working great!
