The product is true to color. Thin but does the job of protecting the bed decently. The size is not true. I ordered 52" x 82". Before washing straight out of the package it was 47" x 78". We will see if it stays that size after washing.

I am a stickler for not having dogs on my bed, Especially on my bedding. I cover half of my bed with one consistently. They are waterproof, at least if your dog is wet I don’t know about dumping water on it to test it and I won’t push it. Bella does not pee on my bed so that would be a different story. I sleep on my side of the bed and Bella sleeps on the other side most of the time, if she’s not between my shins. I only have 1 dog, the others are family members dogs. They come to visit a lot until it’s time for them to take their tails out of my area of the house and one of them sheds, which bothers me more than anything. The other family members don’t care if the dogs are on their bed, but I do. These do the job if it’s raining. I always have one clean to change every 3-4 days. As far as softness, it’s not a sheet of sandpaper so I’m not that concerned about that, after all they are dogs. She licks their own behind, I don’t think she is that picky, so she probably doesn’t care much about softness. She did get sick on it once and I was thrilled I didn’t have to wash my bedding also. It does what I need so I am happy, obviously. Just throw it in the washer and dryer and it comes out just like when I bought it..

This is basically a blanket but it’s still pretty nice. It isn’t like a washable pee pad with a waterproof backing which is what I expected. Bought for my rabbits xpen because two of my rabbits arent great at using the litterbox. When they pee on it, it just sits like a puddle and doesn’t absorb. This would be good if there was a spill or an accident that you see right away so you can clean it. But if you don’t notice a mess right away, your pet will step on the mess and get dirty. So this isn’t great when I’m not home and come home to my rabbits having pee on their paws. But for anyone who has a rabbit who doesn’t pee everywhere, this is great. The hay doesn’t stick to the material and it’s easy to clean. It’s easy to scrape the hair and hay off with a comb before washing (always do this or you’ll ruin the washing machine!). This just doesn’t work for what I’m using it for. Back to whelping mats!

I am the owner of an 18 year old temper-mental cat who loves to show her emotions by peeing on my bed. After she peed on my duvet (which had been picked up from the dry cleaners a day before), I knew something had to change. I purchased this blanket because of both its size and its great reviews. I was however, skeptical. The very next day I find a large puddle of pee on the blanket and as pictured, it rested on the top of the blanket and DID NOT soak through! I was ecstatic. After a quick wipe and spray of urine remover, it was good as new! This blanket has saved me three other times from having to clean up puke and pee off of my duvet. The biggest downside is that the blanket isn't very visually appealing but I will take ugly over pee on my duvet any day.*pictured above is the blanket in action as captured by my roommate to report on my cats very bad behavior*

I bought this to protect my brand new down duvet that my puppy peed on. After I had to wash the duvet and was a big hassle this cover and protected it. It was water proof and after wiping the pee spot and cleaning a few accidents..I used a spray Laundry soap/ water to clean between washes, it just gets thrown in the washing machine, not too big and bulky. I would recommend.
