This review is for Ampad Steno Book #25-472; 6' x 9", Gregg Ruled, 70 sheets. I hate it when manufacturers make major product changes, put keep the same part number (25-472). This new version is less durable than the old. The front and rear covers on the new version are 0.023" thick. On the old version, the front was 0.034", and the rear was 0.030". Plus, on the old version there was more space at the top of each page for a heading or small drawing. Because of how each page is printed, there are no more usable lines on the new version than on the old. In both pictures, the old version is on the left. The generic steno books you buy at the large office supply stores are better than these.

Falsely advertised as having "tan cover." Not only does delivered product have a white cover, but the cover is thin and flimsy. Old version had sturdy tan cover and backing. It's bad enough to lower the quality of your product, but then to pretend nothing happened is really sleazy.

Best little notebook for taking meeting notes, listing Action Items. I have used these for years. they have been a great reference tool for going back and finding that :lost" decsion maker or action item.

I wanted several steno tablets for various purposes; I checked Office Depot and Staples and this seemed to be the best price for the item and quantity; they arrived in one day; quick delivery.
