I've been making smoothies and protein shakes at least once a week for about a year now with my Ninja blender. It isn't showing any signs of wear and continues to work great.

I ordered this because my stand alone smoothie maker stopped working. I got the cups and blades, washed them, and put my fruits and juice in the blender. When I turned it on, it made a VERY LOUD grinding noise after a few seconds. Then stopped spinning and was still making the noise. I stopped it put the original blender on the machine and it did the same thing. I just used it the night before and it worked fine. The new cup and blades were also very hard to actually seat in the base.

I’ve bought this for my ninja blender and it works well. So far only one problem the cup seems to have self tightened to the point were no one could open it. We tried tools and many different ways but we couldn’t open it. So we threw away and I replaced it. If it happens again I am done but I do like this product otherwise.

I use this 2-5 times a week, in mid May, and by September, it leaked through the piece that holds the blades, and leaves a mess in my actually blender.That in addition to how hard you had to screw the lid on and how much effort was required to take the cup off of the blender with this attachment (I was 9 months pregnant in August and could barely manage either), the whole time before it broke, deems it not worth the money for me, since I now have to buy a different one.

I should have taken the other reviews into consideration before purchasing. The blades do not fit the blender even though the model number is listed AND I got someone else's return. Will be returning immediately.
