So, first the issue I was hoping to resolve:My s20+ decided that it's USB port didn't want to work anymore (bought new 7 months ago). In addition to the battery generally being old, not being able to rapidly charge my device during my 10+ hour workdays on the road is an absolute problem. Considering that I'm still paying for this phone (nice!), it seemed important to fix it and keep it pushing. The part itself fit just fine and, for the first 12 hours, worked great. Installation was easy solely because I already had all the tools I needed, which is great because this kit really only needs a single decent P00 driver, yet it came with 3 torx drivers for... some reason? That's a low bar to fail to meet.Fast forward to the next day and not only does my USB port refuse to do anything but slow charge at a rate lower than my phone will benefit from even in airplane mode with zero apps or connected devices going, it's now decided to impact my ability to use cellular data, and is also interfering in my ability to reliably utilize wifi, which is a known issue for that specific board in this phone. So not only can I absolutely not recommend this kit, I'll actively say don't do it. And I'll also say not to waste your time at this point with the S20 series, because is my 3rd and they've all been plagued with various issues. The USB port always does extremely fast, and each one has developed their own, exciting issues unique to them such as the vibrator motor never working consistently from day 1, the screen developing odd problems very quickly, or the SIM reading components strobing. This has been enough of an annoyance that moving forward I don't expect to have a Samsung phone for quite some time.

I installed it fairly easily, and it was exactly the same as the original part except working. It had all the tools needed to complete the repair included. I actually didn't need multiple of the screwdrivers at all so really it had some bonus screwdrivers included for a different project.

They seem to be well made. Used for making up cables to connect a mic preamp to an audio interface. The standard for most mixers/audio interfaces is that mic level inputs are XLR connectors, line in will be for a TRS balanced/unbalanced input. That eliminates the need to select line in or mic in with a switch. As sturdy and well made as any I've used since I started 50 years ago, an as a radio engineer and on recording engineer.

Worked great! The adhesive worked fine. The tools were great too! I'm super pleased with it. Some alcohol would have been nice to clean up some of the old adhesive.

Debated between buying this and buying a new phone. Glad I bought this. Easy change, works great!

Very solid construction and I cannot fault them except for the lack of that tag. I had to trim away some of the insulation to expose the sleeve and solder the screens to that. Not a problem for an old valve amp tekky like me but could bamboozle the newb? Very good value.

It has been quite a while since I've submitted a review of a product. I tend to be a bit more critical than most people, I guess. I also have no tolerance for inferior anything. I guess I get too "scratchy" in my reviews. When I got the email to share my experience, I was going to pass. Then, I remembered how quickly these arrived & what a really good quality these are for this price. As always, I WAS just going to write a few lines & say these are great & call it a day. Well, I'll just say that I wrote this review & then came back & wrote this paragraph afterward. I don't think "a few lines" is accurate. But I did delete a bunch of stuff. Don't allow mysalty writing over shadow the quality, professional product & more than reasonable cost.I bought a ten pack of these because I got tired of purchasing cables that I'm quite capable of making myself. As an added bonus of that, I don't have any 20 foot cables that connect two things that are touching each other. I make a cable (or two) that are the correct length. It looks like I have fewer cables, so it's better organized, but I've really just reduced the amount of cable. With two of these plugs (by the way, saying it's a male plug is not neccessary, plugs ARE male. Jacks are female. I know. We all want to know why the female is called a jack. anyway...) I can take one of my 20 foot balanced cables, cut it in half & make two 10 foot balanced cables. It's not that hard. With a little practice it's actually easy & kinda fun. As long as you don't solder yourself & wear protective eyewear.I bought 1 pack to check them out & see the quality. Pictures are nice, but nothing beats holding one in your hand. They're nice & heavy (for a plug). They're "well built" or "sturdy" type heavy. The soldering lugs are well spaced so I had NO problems with the Tip & Ring shorting with each other or to the Sleeve (ground). The hole in the lugs is plenty big for stranded wire to easily slip through after the strands are tinned & still keep the wires in place while being soldered. Each plug has a clear plastic insulator sleve that slips over the finished soldered lugs so wires don't ground to the inside of the metal collar (if you can remember to put the casing on the cable, then the insulator & slide them up out of your way & THEN wire up & solder the plug). Once the plug is soldered on & cools a few seconds, then slide the insulator down & slip it over the lugs carefully, then slide the casing down & screw it in place & test for contuity. These plugs have all of the features that I'm used to getting on the high priced ones, except the high prices. Since I was so pleasantly surprised by the great quality & price of these, I bought more of them & went on a cable making bender. It's always a good idea to have spare cables. It's not a good idea to wait until one quits working or one of the knuckleheads in you band steps on a cable that's plugged into the board or something. Don't go, "Ohh, my poor cable". Go, "Ohh, my $5000 mixer board! It's a good thing I have extra cables". Save the board. Fix the cables another time.Once I received my first order of these, I noticed that I already had cables with plugs on them that look exactly like these, that I purchased several years ago & they still look like I just made them a day ago. They're in great shape & holding up nicely. Granted it's been a while since I toured & "as a rule", cables in the studio, don't take the abuse that cables on the road do. Be that as it may, I've noticed over the years, that poor quality stands out with little help. OK. let me rephrase that. The crappy stuff breaks no matter how gingerly it's treated. The great quality stuff often goes unnoticed (the squeaky wheel & all that). It's often hard to tell what brand a plug is. Some of the expensive ones stamp their company name on them as advertising. The cheapo ones don't, because if your not sure your product is good enough to last for a while, maybe it's better just to sneak in, under the radar, so nobody knows who make those crappy connectors. These deserve to have their stamp on them so people know what company makes these great plugs for such a great price. I'd better wrap it up. Great price for such a high quality product. I use them. They last. Did I mention that I can break ANYTHING? I can break dirt. Without even trying. I haven't broken ANY of these of the 30 or so plugs I've make cables out of, ALL are still looking & working great. So I finally found something I can't break without trying. It's about time....

Decent plugs, the build quality seems okay. Maybe a little bit pricey for what you get but I do think the quality is good enough.
