Well made and good durable material. Medium fits me covering halfway down my thigh at 5’9 160.

I have large thighs and the design of these shorts prevents me from kicking above the waist without restriction. Overall, the quality of these shorts appears to be high, but the design is restrictive and not suitable for kicking or knee strikes. They might be great for people with small thighs, but I can't be sure.I ordered a different pair of Muay Thai shorts from Anthem and they're great. Lots of movement because the sides are cut. I considered having this pair cut and sewn, but I didn't want to pay extra or risk modification issues so I returned them.

The elastic in the waist band is a little loose and the fabric in the legs is stiff for Muay Thai shorts, which kinda limits movement -- especially with roundhouse kicks above the waist. I'm not tall so they can get in the way with sparring if the legs aren't cinched up a little.They're not terrible, but they're not my favorite, either.

These shorts are just what I was looking for. I'm not a fan of the flashy embroidery on typical thai shorts. The fact that these shorts didn't have it is what caught my attention. The fit is perfect. High cut on the legs, with the additional high thigh cut. The quality of shorts is exceptional. I purchased shorts before that fell apart after the 1st time in the wash. These are stitched very well, and very durable. I would highly recommend this brand of shorts to anyone looking for long term gear at a competitive price.

Fit: I followed the sizing guide and found them to be comfortable around the waist and perhaps ever so slightly large in terms of length and 'puffyness'. I have to wear them with the waist band flipped over once, which I have to do with almost all my other Muay Thai shorts as well. As a caveat to this statement I should note that I only wear 'retro' style muay thai shorts which tend to be shorter and have less material all around, so this may be why this pair feels ever so slightly large.They appear to be high quality in terms of stitching and the material feels like it will remain strong after many washes. I ordered the black pair and appreciate that they are low key in terms of style (especially considering how hard it is to find muay thai shorts that don't look like they belong in a circus). Lastly, any potential buyer should note that the material is not the typical satin found on most muay thai shorts, but is a duller less flashy version which is mellow in style, but also not what one typically associates with thai shorts (no value judgement here, just pointing out a difference)..
