One of the biggest head-scratchers in resin printing is why there's so much guesswork involved in setting up these precision machines. Guessing the right tension for the release film is probably the most egregious example of this because it can result in tons of wasted time and money.Finally Anycubic has simplified the process, at least for this vat anyway.I'm using these replacement ACF film frames in a Photon Mono 4 Ultra. Installation was as simple as possible, just unscrew the old film frame and screw in the new one. Use a criss-crossing pattern to tighten it down more evenly. The tension is uniform and there were no issues.Yes, the vat in the printer is plastic, and so is this frame. The ACF film is welded between two halves. I've been printing a while with the vat now and, again, there are no issues. I'm very relieved.Since this is ACF film, the price may seem high, but having used normal FEP film again recently with exasperating results, I went crying back to ACF.I think this set should be offered with PFA film as well as a cheaper alternative. PFA is tolerable to good, but FEP is absolutely terrible.
