I bought this just for the reason that my cat used to pit her paws in the water bowl until I realized that she doesn’t trust still water. I set it up put water in there, you know the normal things. She went up to it and she didn’t put her paws in, now I don’t have to worry about walking in a puddle of water. Plus it’s very quiet and looks nice.Edit: They should also sell the filters separately for this specific brand.

I have two large dogs so this still only lasts about 1-2 days but that’s better than the others for sure. I would like to say there are improvements that could be made for sure. First the black color and textured bottom make it really hard to see what the remaining water level is. If it were simply clear plastic then it would be much easier to gauge when to fill the water up. Now the refill signal is essentially when the pump starts pulling air and it makes it noisier. To be fair the pump is essentially silent and it sounds like a quiet fountain at this point. So first improvement is some sort of visual indicator for refill. A water level sensor and a led is likely all that’s needed. Second improvement is the pump doesn’t need to run continuously. Not sure if there is an anti biological reason for this but the pump just always runs. It would be nice if the pump would shut off at some point but again not a big deal since it’s a usb pump and it’s very quiet I just worry about the motor burning out prematurely or the impeller melting since it is likely plastic. Other than that it works great, actually helps my dog keep water and slobber in the bowl rather than all over the floor so that’s a substantial improvement. But again my favorite part is the volume. Having to refill their old water dish 1-2 times a day was a serious chore and now I get sometimes almost 3 and my dogs drink a lot of water. Very active lab and Australian shepherd so it’s nice to have a gap in when that water needs to be refilled.

It is good but just 3 weeks after buying it didn't work as well. Filters clogged causing pump to work extra hard. P.S. I am onlyputting filtered water in unit.

No way to contract seller window closed two days ago had it for about a week and a half before we opened it up and used it. Used it for maybe 2 to 3 weeks to find it not working so disappointing not worth the money spent.
