I bought this coilsprings the 1st time, but it had a shipping problem. I was charged but then i got my refund. So i ordered another one. And it came. Happy with the result as it did lower my 06 mazda5.

I know these are meant for a Mazda but I have a 2008 Volvo c30 (Volvo P1 platform) which shares many parts with Mazdas since they were both owned by Ford in those years. These springs have the same overall diameter as the Volvo springs but they are thicker (larger wire diameter), can take more weight, and are also longer.You could use these to lift a p1 volvo and add towing capacity. What I used it for was to lower the back by cutting these (about 1 coil was cut off) and put my volvo at the perfect height I wanted in the rear without having to buy an expensive set of 4 lowering springs when I would only use the rear anyways (these cars are naturally super raked forward).These are heavier duty so they don’t bottom out even with the 1-1.5 inch lowered stance I gave it by cutting these.I can’t say how they would work for their actual Mazda application but they worked amazing for my Volvo c30 leveling project and ride pretty nicely. Not a lot of body roll but still enough compliance for potholes and bad roads. PerfectThese would probably work well for and s40 or v50 too
