Material seems super thin.

This review is for a size 42, worn by someone who is bust 44, waist 42, hips 48.First of all, yes it fit. We weren’t sure, but thought we’d give it a go. Overall this is a good swimsuit, if you accept its quirks and limitations. This is a fitness/competition suit. It creates minimal drag, and one of the ways it does that is no chest support/cups. If you’re conscientious about ‘poking out’, this is not for you. It was also a ‘just fits’ across the chest. This is really meant for women who have a medium to smaller chest relative to body size, just like you’d expect on a fitter competition swimmer. Finally, though, it was surprisingly flattering at the waist, especially since the wearer is curvy, and her swimsuits can be hit or miss. She has used it for aquasize and lap swimming multiple time a week, and with a rinse after each use it’s holding up well despite the lighter material. If you want to maximize your exercise swimming, this is a suit worth considering.

Not sure how they size these performance bathing suits. I understand that they are to fit snug for performance. So I ordered what I thought would be a size up for me. I usually wear a 10/12 womans bathing suit. This suit in a size 40 measures as follows:-Armpit to armpit, un-stretched measures 28" around.-Length from crotch to top of shoulder measures 28 1/2"I knew there would not be any padding in the top, but I want to note that there is no additional lining in the top area. The entire suit is all one layer of material with the exception of the small extra patch in the crotch area. The tag states the suit is 100% chlorine proof, which as someone who has had favorite suits rot from not rinsing good enough after swimming, is a great thing.I dinged one star for the crazy size difference.I dinged one star for no additional lining in the breast area.Other than those two things, it is a very cute suit that looks very well made.

We have kids in swim clubs - and we always get Arena competitive swimsuits because they last longer and are comfortable. Arena swim suits tend to have good consistent sizing from their different styles. Same with this one. 32 sizing on this matched other 32 sizes that we got. It fit perfectly. It's a bit tight when dry but when you are in the water swimming laps, they loosen a bit - so we always size it a bit tight. The straps are wide and comfortable. We like the front pattern that's a simple repeat of the Arena logo. Overall, great swimsuit for laps.Only problem is that unlike some of the older Arena swimsuits that we bought, this one is much thinner. There is a big difference from others we have. This is almost see through especially when you are going in and out of the water. My daughter stopped wearing it after just once.

My kid's swim team is an ARENA team, so we're very familiar with this brand of suits. I got this one for me to swim laps. I already have a TYR one, and the sizing is comparable. Because this is a training suit, it's supposed to be form fitting. It's considered too big if you can lift the straps up to your ears. This ARENA suit is a cute design with a more coverage on the bottom. However, I'm not convinced this is not a knockoff suit. The only place it's lined is the gusset. But the product information from the ARENA website for this exact suit says, "Full frontal lining provides additional comfort." The fabric is really smooth and soft, and if it was any color other than black, it would be see-through. As it is, the suit is very thin and wouldn't support anyone with a chest larger than an A cup.
