I purchased this little ratchet on an impulse, and I'm glad, that I did. This little tool has an exceptional build-quality, and provides usage in a wide-range of practical applications. As previous reviewers have stated, very-handy for tackling under-dash work, AC-furnance repair, appliance-service, and even gunsmithing. The bifurcated head increases the tool's performance: as the typical 1/4" drive ratchet, and a dedicated, bit-driver. A 1/4" bit extender is a must-have accessory for reaching into those tighter spots. The bit-driver also works very with extra-long 1/4" bits; and all of the usual, standard types: torx, phillips, pozi-drive, security bits, etc. I will probably purchase a few more of these ratchets, for my other tool boxes. The Ares stubby is great for doing, folding-knife maintenance, in conjunction with my 1/4" Malco drivers. At the price-point it's hard-to-beat this item for versatility, and value. For it's size, very-solid in the hand. The 3/8" stubby flex-head, ratchet is equally ergonomic, and also; well-made. Very handy for close-quarters apps. The Ares-brand ratchets are definitely worth the price-point.

Love this set! I use the 3/8 short flex more often than I thought and this one does not disapoint! Gearing is smooth and needs minimul distance to ratchet through each gear. The 3/8 was purchased to put into my 2nd tool box which is used for mobile fixes, but works so well that it is now in my main tool box and my other short stubby flex is in the 2nd box. The 1/4 drive is excellent for car interior work as it is small, but has a lot of strenght! I can use a small pipe if I need to extend the throw to increase leverage. Finish is excellent! This is an excellent set that you will find more usage for than what was expected.

I'm a motorcycle mechanic and wanted to try some smaller ratchets. I really didn't expect much from these, assumed they wear-out quickly and I'd have my tool guy sell me a 200$ set...but that's not the case. I use these everyday for hours and they're both still going strong!! I've already gotten far more use out of them than I paid for, and when they do wear-out ill probably order another set.
