I live in a rural community that has the worst Electricity provider in the state. Rain and mild wind gusts of 5 mph can and do cause power outages that can last 12 hrs. I bought one of these lanterns last week and liked it so much I bought 2 more. Battery operated makes more sense than USB rechargeable lanterns. Ive yet to find a rechargeable one that holds a decent charge that'll last more than 6-8 hours. You can make these lanterns give light with only 2 batteries, which is an unexpected but welcome option.I will update after next power outage.Major power outage in Alabama March 15th & 16th. 2 lamps lit most of my 16 x 18 room. The light isn't great for reading, it throws too many shadows but its great for illuminating a room. Still a 10/10.

So glad I bought these before Hurricane Helene hit us so hard in NE TN. We didn’t have power for 27 days and these guys worked great. Not too bright, perfect regular living illumination. I also appreciate their multiple uses - hold as a flashlight, sit on a table so it illuminates up and therefore most of the room, also can hang them like a lantern.

We used candles up until our last round of storms. The candles were so hot. We couldn’t pick them up. Immediately got on Amazon purchased these and were very pleased with the price, size and lighting. Very lightweight One button easy to use. Very safe material looks great. Perfect to grab an go. Definitely recommend these.

I bought these a few months ago after a power outage in our schools. We had another huge storm come through and knock the power out, and these really worked out great! I have three school kitchen with zero windows, these lanterns, were bright, lightweight, easy to hold on to, and they stand up without falling over. For the price, these are great! OH and they come with the batteries! No fumbling in the dark looking for batteries!

Worked as it should, very good quality and held my camshafts aligned for doing timing kit on 2011 chevy colorado with the 2.9L engine.
