Gasket is wrong material and does not fit. Seller was nice enough to reach out for a refund.

My 2008 E350 developed a small oil leak between the engine block and oil filter housing, so this gasket set should address that issue perfectly. For the DIYers like me, this is definitely a doable replacement and took less than three hours. It’s certainly not easy to get to, but it wasn’t that bad overall. You’ll need to drain the coolant, remove the belt, dampener pulley and thermostat housing (get the gasket for that, too) as well as keeping track of the bolts that hold the filter housing in place-they’re different lengths. I also thoroughly degreased the motor prior to starting this project to make certain the replacement gaskets were holding. My coolant was relatively new, so I poured it through a filter when I reused it, but you’ll still need some additional coolant to top everything off. Be prepared with an appropriate container to catch some coolant that can’t be drained easily. Since I had the filter housing off (and a little coolant may have snuck into the passageway), I changed the filter and oil at the same time. After a few months of driving the car, there are no leaks. Who doesn’t like a spotless engine?
