This large audio equipment and DJ bag feels like it was designed by someone who actually knows what needs to be carried to a performance. There are a lot of pockets and Velcro straps for placing and securing lots of gear. My Pioneer DDJ-400 fits inside the back padded area of the backpack very well with a bit of extra room to spare. It looks like it will fit an even bigger DJ mixing units without any issues. The back compartment is lined with a soft velvet fabric for extra protection for the DJ music mixer. There are Velcro loops for wrapping up cables and microphones into the backpack. Plenty of netted and solid pockets throughout the backpack are available too. One of the more impressive pockets are the larger one that can easily fit entire record albums into. Each pocket is big enough to hold at least six albums in each. That is just such a bonus feature to me. There is clearly enough room in this backpack for a modest sized turntable in addition to everything else it could carry. Plenty of space for tablets or a laptop as well. The backpack is pretty much the size of a good piece of airplane on-board luggage. It definitely can store a lot of items all together. The adjustable shoulder straps are thick and padded for travelling around with. There are also side handles to help with toting it around. Outside of the lights and speakers, this is a highly multi-functional backpack for equipment. It really looks like it was designed by an audio professional for other music professionals. I really like this backpack a lot. 5 Stars.

I have tried a number of solutions for carrying my MPC Live II an related accessories. Most of them have fit the MPC fine, but had issues with fitting everything else (power supply, headphones, an external MIDI keyboard). I got this one because the dimensions were plenty large enough to fit it, and with two layers, I felt like it might actually do the trick. The main pocket is well padded, and in a way that leaves some room for your gear to breathe, which is important for after you have used it. It also has two straps, which are great, because it is designed for something different, so there are two or three inches left on the top of backpack with my MPC. The second pocket, while seemingly designed for a laptop, fits my MPK Mini Plus with room to spare, and some of the accessory pockets do great for the power supply. I have to pretty much fit my over-ear headphones in the extra space (because the MPK is in the way of the headphone hook), but there is plenty of that. The external pocket is a great size for an iPad, which I also use on occasion, and there are a lot of great loops for holding cables, and useful, thought out features for musicians in the storage.I also have had quite a few carry-on sized backpacks for travel, and this compares favorably to a lot of them. The shoulder straps are not quite as well padded as some of those, which tend to be geared more towards hiking, but are well-adjustable, and have nice buckles and features for setting the load well. There are extra buckles to help hold the zippers shut, as well, which is helpful, and can help tighten up the load so it sits better against your back. The padding on the rear section pads your back well, and it is comfortable to wear as a backpack. It also has great features for connecting it to roller bags, or to carry it sideways, so it is easy to navigate a variety of situations, and the side handles are well-padded and comfortable, and not an afterthought. Compared to some other bags I have tried, or similar-sized backpacks, it is moderately priced. The materials used are of moderate quality, but for the use case that I have for it (bringing it to and from satellite locations via car), it provides plenty of protection from minor bumps and drizzles, while keeping the things I use together in an organized way. I would say as long as I was carrying it myself, it is ample protection for most situations for me.

Awesome bag. Fits my Numark Mixtrack Platinum FX with a DeckSaver, 2 laptops, My headphones, a BUNCH of cables, and 2 laptop chargers. Seems of solid quality but this season will tell. For the price seems like an awesome bag.

As a live, gigging musician, this bag offers some great features. It has multiple pockets and compartments for storing/organizing cables and devices. The compartment with all the velcro straps is perfect for organizing different sized instrument cables and mic cords, so I am prepared for different stages and venues. The large section can contain a reasonably-sized pedalboard. That is why I ordered this case. I can make one trip from my car wearing this backpack, carrying my guitar case in one hand, and my mic stand and garment bag in the other hand.
