Item is easy to put together, instructions are pretty clear and tools come with.My issue came when I put it on my 2024 Kia Sportage. The inside clamp is flat, so it doesn't actually hook onto anything. The clamp relies on the outer clamp to hook under the ledge of the rail. Seems okay in theory... I loaded one of the bars onto my vehicle and I tightened them down as much as I could. Then I tested my ability to lift it off, and it slide right up. Imagine my surprise!Okay, maybe I didn't tighten it down enough. Tried again, this time tightened even more to the point where I could feel the tool twisting out of the screw head. Tried to lift it again, this time one handed, and it slipped right off.The outer clamp that it relies on so heavily is flawed. Either that or I got a defective item. Upon closer examination, the top of the rail touches the corner piece of the clamp and causes it to not catch properly.I then tested it with the rear bar and clamps, and same exact thing.Do NOT get this item for your 24 Kia Sportage, it does NOT fit properly. It is dangerous to use, and I am unable to use it all.

Tried everything to get the brackets tonclio under the slightly raised point of the Kia rails, however all brackets seem to be at the wrong angle for it to grip, I'm of to a a roof rack stote to get them treble checked as they aren't gripping correctly.... I've tried to source a contact email or number for Auxpacbo but can't find anything anywhere... disappointing.
