Surprisingly easy to install and easy to read instructions anyone can do it and it's very worthy upgrade.Screen is large and good quality and its not laggy, connecting your phone is easy to do. I haven't had time to install the rear view camera as it's a bit more involved but i expect it to be of decent quality at least. Overall a great upgrade.

We got this for my daughter's 2011 Jeep 4 door Wrangler. I wanted her to have the ability to talk hands free and have a backup camera. It definitely has met our expectations. The sound quality is great. No tunnel effects. The only con is we can't seem to get rid of the lines on the backup camera, but other than that, she LOVES it.

The radio in my Jeep Wrangler stopped working. This was an old school radio not a touch screen. I decided to replace it with a touch screen radio with Apple car play. After researching for awhile, and not wanting to spend a fortune, I decided on this Awesafe touch screen radio. As a bonus it came with a backup camera which my Jeep didn't have. All in all a good radio. The instructions were a little vague but if you take your time it's not too bad. Watch the video. Very helpful as you have to take off some dash pieces to get the OEM radio out. The wire harnesses it comes with is plug and play. The directions for the backup camera left a lot to be desired. The directions state to connect the red lead coming off the video plug to the reverse wire going to the canbus. I did not do this. I just plugged the female video plug harness into the radio and the male video plug into that. On the other end of the cord, the end that goes to the back of the Jeep, I tapped into my reverse light and connected to the red lead and a ground wire to the black lead. You will need to research to find what color wire it is. Then I plugged the camera into that cord. Another thing to mention is that you will need to purchase some kind of mount for the camera. I bought one for $45 that goes onto the spare tire holder then the spare goes over it. The camera pokes through a wheel spoke. One issue I had was the camera that came with the radio projected guide lines that curved to the right even when the wheel was straight. They would move back and forth when backing up with no rhyme or reason. I reached out to customer support and was contacted by Amy. I must say she was great and over the course of many days stayed with me. She offered various things to try and asked for screen shots. After multiple tries she set me a new camera and cable. I tried to plug the new camera into the line I already installed but it didn't work. Before I ripped out the line I had installed I reached out to Amy who got back to me and asked me to use the cable that came with the new camera. I hot wired it to test and it worked. The guide lines the new camera projects are straight and stay straight even when turning. That's ok because there are orange guide lines that appear when turning I believe generated by the radio and these lines work as they're supposed to. To sum it up, it's a great radio for the money (I have nothing to compare it to cause I've never had a touch screen before), installation was fairly straightforward but directions not great. If you have some mechanical aptitude you should be fine, if the backup camera has curved guidelines you may need a "different" one, and you need a camera mount if you don't already have a camera you're replacing.
