Large display that is very easy to read. Clean design, easy on the eyes. Push buttons are steel membrane switches instead of rubbery buttons.Plastic is much more delicate than steel, so act accordingly. Plastic is also flimsier than steel, and therefore the measuring tolerances are less tight but perfectly sufficient for general household use where you would normally take a ruler.Downside: It drains the CR2032 battery rather quickly because it draws constant current, which I measured to be 16 micro Amps when it pretends to be OFF. If you know electronics, plan to install a battery switch and the lithium battery will last decades.

The display is very easy to read and the operation is smooth. This caliper is very useful for home use like checking the diameter of pipes, verifying the dimensions of a product like watches. It’s made of plastic and I think it’s not intended for machine shop operations. I have a poor eyesight and I have problems with purely mechanical calipers without the LCD display. For its price this is a great buy. I wonder how the company can sell it at this price. The instrument also looks attractive. I’m very happy with this purchase. It would be a nice gift to friends who have a need for precise measurements.

A plastic tool for six bucks is unsurprisingly nowhere near professional grade. Also, the digital reader on mine was way, way off out of the box. However, I removed and reinstalled the battery and now it works fine. This tool is perfectly acceptable for weekend warrior duty.

De momento, estoy contento con la compra. Vino con su funda original y bien protegida la pala. A un buen precio. El diseño, materiales y peso es ideal para empezar este deporte.. En unos meses doy mi Feedback tras usarla más..
