I ended up sizing up in these pants when I should have just gone with my usual size. These are just too big for me but they are still very comfortable. Since this is a sun shade material there’s not a lot of stretch in the material itself (just a note for those who might need it) but the waist band is stretchy. They’re very swishy and there’s ample space in the crotch area (making this great to wear over a swimsuit).Since I really meant this for a swimsuit cover, I can still wear it but they’re just too big for me for regular wear. The material is very breathable but as a note they do make that “swish” sound when I walk.

I haven't used these to swim in yet, but I'm very pleased with the fit, the style, the quality fabric and construction. They can also be used for street wear. I upsized one size because I didn't want them to feel tight or be a struggle to take off when wet, but I think I could have stayed with my usual size. I can't wait for summer and for my pool to warm up so I can try them out. It's easy to see from the fabric that they will be quick drying.

The Good: The fabric is very light and airy. It feels moisture wicking. It has pockets and additional zipper pocket in the pockets. The Bad: The cuts on the side look cute in the photos but wearing them is a different story. They look odd and while walking they flap around which is both annoying and not cute at all. These things have so much static!!!! Every time I moved they stuck to my legs and themselves. They bunched up and made staticky noise. It took a comfortable fabric and made it miserable to wear. And finally the fit is very odd. The photo of me wearing them is my front. The pants for whatever reason puffed out around the top half making me look like I have a front butt. I don't think I'm alone in saying that is very much not what I want to look like. It's a shame that the fit/static/flapping legs slits are like this. The pants were comfortable, I love the zipper pockets and the length.

I have previously ordered from the Baleaf brand and have never been disappointed. This order is no different.I am 5ft 3in tall about 110#. I usually a size 4 or 6 in pants. I ordered a size medium in black. They fit well, a tiny bit big. But, for me, they are in the "just right" zone. A size small would fit but they would be snug. I can roll over the waist. On the waist is elastic and a draw string that is real and works so, they are forgiving if you gain or lose weight. They would be comfortable for pregnancy. My inseam is about 29in. The bottom of the legs hits mid-calf, well below the knees. There is a slit on the hem. It is 12in long. The entire length of the pant, from waist to bottom of the legs is about 31.5 in. There are working pockets on both sides on the front thigh. They are not extra deep. But, there is a third hidden pocket on the right size that zips. It is big enough for a smaller phone, money or keys. Just be careful of the weight. The material is VERY light weight. It is tissue thin but, NOT see thru. It feels like windbreaker material rather than swim suit material. It would dry in minutes. The make-up in 88.9% polyester and 11.1% spandex. These would be great for walks on the beach where you would be getting wet but still needed to be appropriate for public. Like, a hotel lobby.I got them for beach hiking and canoeing. I need non-obstructed movement and I HATE having burnt knees!
