It does what it says! It's well machined; I didn't have any trouble connecting fittings to it. Performance exceeded expectations. Hooked it up to my small 2.2cfm air compressor and it creates a decent vacuum, more than enough to dry out two waterlogged phones I've tested it on.

Used this to "speed up" the vacuum on my coolant vacuum kit.....works much quicker than the one that came from factory (just read the specs)

I used this to evacuate the line on my new mini AC split installation. I can get -25 in Hg pressure holding without rise in vacuum on a 3 gal doughnut air compressor. My only complaint is that it doesn't come with the silencer.

this device works very well, i can pull a ~20 inhg vacuum on a ~2.5 gallon tank in about 30 sec when starting from STP the lowest i have gotten is ~25in using 100psi @ ~7cfm. this device likes air, treat it as a very high pressure HVLP gun and you will not be disappointed. i run this off of a 60gal 3hp compressor and the compressor can keep this venturi pulling a vacuum at its rated 11cfm

I needed vacuum to prototype a vacuum chuck system where I work. Vacuum pumps can get really expensive, so that was out of the question, but we already have shop compressed air.I hooked this up and with proper 1/4" tubing and NPT fittings, it worked well for my use. I was able to get enough suction for my needs.Don't forget to buy an inexpensive exhaust muffler to relieve the remaining compressed air on the outlet. Even with the muffler, of course you will hear the compressed air coming out of the exhaust side, which is only natural with this type of device.
