This is a momentary rocker switch, when you press the one side and release it, the switch will shut off. I put this as a replacement in my Snow Joe SJ627E electric snow thrower because original parts are very rare. It worked very well for the snow fall that we received in Ontario. I also bought an extra for stock.

This switch is intermittent on both sides. Since I needed an intermittent on one side and the other ‘on’. So opened using small tabs at side and removed one spring from the side to make it not toggle back. Replaced part works well.
