These racks are made well, sturdy and very quiet. I like the locking mechanism and the lack of high speed noise.Starting the mounting screws on the brackets was a little challenging but not awful. The most challenging was the hole spacing. Two of the four mounting feet were not spaced correctly to start the screws (2020 Honda Pilot with factory rails). Other than that, we used them to haul our surfboards to the beach and back without issue.

We can sit here and split hairs on whether or not the crossbars are supposed to actually fit on a 2025 Honda pilot but I’m not gonna sit here and accuse the manufacturer of not knowing how this stuff works. It’s a very complicated design for such a simple product given that it’s supposed to be two horizontal bars that fits perfectly on top of the vent brand new car, but it can’t do that the screws inside it were missing, it even says on the ructions to email their outlook account which makes it seem like it’s a real legitimate company. All in all this is by far the most garbage product I’ve bought on Amazon Amazon in a very long time. Very disgruntled and very disappointed returning this back and it ruined my vacation because now we have to pack lighter than we anticipated.

These were a perfect fit on the factory raised roof rails of a 2025 Honda Pilot.Installation wasn't difficult and took me about 45 minutes. The set came with a T-handle Allen wrench; both the long and short ends of the T-wrench worked on the screws that held the bars to the four foot mounts, and on the bolts that tighten each foot mount to the roof rail.Take note of which cross bar is the front and rear, as they are different lengths. Also note that the pointy end of each cross bar points to the rear of the car.Installing the cross bars with the pointy end facing front may cause wind noise. Each foot mount is labeled L or R to indicate which side each goes in.Note that the Allen wrench won't fit between the bars and your roof if the foot mounts are already fastened to the rail, so adjust for length and tighten the screws underneath the bars before tightening the foot mounts to the roof rails.Once installed the cross bars were very sturdy. The rubberized coating on the camps of the foot mounts gripped the roof rails well and prevented movement. The set looks very nice and does not detract from the the look of the car at all. There is a very slight upward curve on each cross bar, so bike carriers mounted away from the center may lean to one side a bit.Update: taking off one star. There is an occasional whistling noise at around 50mph. I've verified that the crossbars are installed correctly, with the pointy end facing the rear.

A moderate amount of ability is needed to drill holes in the roof trim piece for the mounting bolts but plenty of video is available to assist. Great price and value and very quiet at highway speeds. Will be mounting another on a family vehicle. Very pleased.
