CONS: Holes.PROS: Sturdy. Hardware.Additional Thoughts: I used these on a 6x6 treated post. They fit the post well and provide good support. The included small screws are metal tapping screws, which I found odd. Each bracket has 4 pre-drilled holes on one side of the bracket. I used the screws to go through those holes and into my post. I really wish the other side of the bracket also had pre-drilled holes but maybe that is why they included the self tapping screws, but that seems weird to me. I plan on using the screws on the side without holes but will wait until I secure the post to the floor. I have not tried the expansion bolts because I am nervous. I have only used this type of bolt a couple times before and other reviews said these are not good quality. I do not want them to break in the hole because I am not sure how I would get the broken bolt out. I am leaning towards buying some name brand expansion bolts to secure the brackets to my concrete floor.LovingTheRetiredLife

Worked well on existing posts to match solid brackets used to mount new posts. I'm not relying on structural support, just cosmetic.

After hunting for the appropriate anchors for my pergola these anchors turn out to be the most flexible to use. Unlike other post anchors that need to slide over the end of the post these can be used after the structure is built and then moved into its final location. Bravo.

The brackets themselves are great, look good, paint is fine. the hardware it comes with for installation is not great, at least the anchors for concrete. Very cheap anchors.I would buy again but would buy different concrete anchors to install

I have used these on 4x4 and 8x8 for porches. Mounted these to concrete, but prefer different anchors without the sleeve on them. Overall i will keep purchasing them for mounting posts.
