If you’re looking for a simple post base, keep looking. These are constructed in a way that requires two small holes instead of the common slotted single 1/2” design.

Seems like a great value to me! You get two stainless steel post brackets and all the hardware you'll need to complete the job for reasonable price. All the steel is 1.7mm thick. You'll only need a 3/8" masonry bit and a good hammer drill. My old 18v hammer/drill started smoking trying to drill into hard concrete so I had to let is cool down a few times.Do I think this would be good to hold up a tall post without any other support? No. but part of a fence connected to a solid post it works well.

The SS is hard and you will need carbide drill bits if you plan to drill any holes. But very good quality!

Oh Boy! Built a small porch out second floor window. These have made it very sturdy.

Putting in a 2 step handrail, 40 inch high post. First of all the anchors supplied were cheap and did not work in the concrete, bought other anchors and installed. Then brackets were super flimsy and were not solid at all. Had to make my own out of steel. Cheap product. You get what you pay for
