The OEM Ryobi 40V battery that comes with their tiller is 6.0Ah and it works great. It's an impressive tiller to be battery powered. And so because this battery is also 6.0Ah and says it's for Ryobi, I thought this one would be good. But no, it's not. It may work for other Ryobi products, but it simply does not put out the power for the tiller. As soon as you let the tines down into the dirt and give it some resistance, the tiller cuts off. This is not what happens with the battery by Ryobi. The tiller works great with the OEM battery.

Good alternative to the overpriced OEM batteries. This was a perfect fit and charged perfectly with the OEM charger. Nice to see the price of batteries like this coming down, bc the tools are relatively cheap if you buy them without batteries.

Very good replacement battery. Power and charging time about the same as name brand original.

Giving 5 stars for now. Packaging was well protected with bubble wrap and in two boxes.I thought I would use it on the first mow of the season, but my original battery held up for the whole mow this time. I will give more of an update when the time comes.Am including comparative pictures. The battery on the bubble wrap is the generic battery. It is smaller in size. It is also the one on the charger; which, I might say, it did charge faster than I expected.
