I only buy 1.5v rechargeables and wanted a few more batteries and a charger so I ordered this. I felt ripped off because the writing says it comes with 2 battery boxes for storage but there is only one. I went back and looked at the manufacturer photos and the last photo shows only one storage box. Just got them fired up so I am assuming 5-star and will update this review if necessary in a few months.

I use these for my Wireless In Ear Monitor system, among other things. They have food long battery life, so I never worry about running out of juice on stage. Great batteries for the price. Will probably buy more.

I have a Canon digital camera that takes amazing photos but never saw much use as it would eat AA alkaline batteries like mad and the cutoff voltage in the camera was far too high for my beloved AA Eneloops (camera would throw low voltage error and shut down after a few photos with nearly full batteries).Enter these rechargeable lithium AA rechargeables with 1.5V constant regulation.Have been watching the technology for a few years now and finally felt that they were mature enough and priced fairly enough to give them a try so I ordered up the charger and 8 battery kit. I proceeded to charge them all up after receipt and then did a full discharge test on each cell to measure actual usable capacity and ensure that I did not receive any bum cells. I used a West Mountain Radio Computerized Battery Analyzer (CBA) and set discharge current at a very modest .5 amps and set cutoff voltage at .9 volts.Results of the testing are shown in the attached image, along with a few AA Eneloops. Highest measured usable energy was 2378mWh and lowest was 2164mWh. Average was 2302mWh. Nowhere near the claimed 3300mWh!! Why do nearly all manufacturers and sellers lie so blatantly, when it's simple to verify their claims? That said, I'm still happy with the cells as they work perfectly in my intended application and much better than primary cells and my beloved Eneloop NiMH cells. The price was very reasonable as well so I consider them to be a decent value.Do note that Soshine is not unique in their inflated capacity claims as I'm sure that nearly all are doing the same, given the fact that the capacities of most are 'too good to be true'. As such, I've since recommended these specific cells to several friends who need higher voltage than AA NiMH cells offer and don't wish to keep tossing primary cells.

It seems like replacing AA batteries is a never ending need. It is kind of rewarding to realize that you have a set of 8 rechargeable a on hand. Lithium is definitely a step above in the battery world. I know my outside wireless temperature sensor requires them because they function even better in low temperatures. Then we think Elon Musk using then with the Teslas.The charger charges 4 batteries at a time. It has two inputs for supplying power, whichever you prefer. One is the old fashioned mini-USB with the two slanted corners, and it also has a USB-C port. They supply the USB with the two slanted corners. They depend on you having a charging output station to supply power, something most all of us have in various forms ranging from other devices to standalone AC plug supplies that have USB charging ports as well.The charging station lights up with a bright orange on whichever port/battery you are charging. So, you can charge one battery, or up to four at a time. The box claims the charger can charge AA, or AAA lithium. They also claim it is the fastest and most fully charging in the world. There isn’t any indication on the charger as to what the current state of charge is so I cannot verify, or refute those claims without knowing the battery is going in uncharged, or near fully charged.The batteries go into the charger very easily, so easily so that you question whether they are fully secured, and then feel rest assured that when you turn the charger upside down, they don’t fall out. That is a sign of superior technology. All in all a nice set, and I am hoping to get a lot of use out of these for a very long time.
