JBL speakers are well built and worth replacing the battery once it diminishes after years of use. But one warning regarding the process itself: there are a LOT of screws! You need to have some confidence and pay attention during disassembly because you have to get allllll the way into the guts of the thing to swap the battery.

Just got done installing the battery following a YouTube tutorial. Works great! The screwdriver and ply tool were indispensable aids and seem of good build quality. They were all I needed (beside tweezers) to do the whole job. So happy to have the ol' girl going again

I restored my Flip 3 by replacing the old swollen battery with this battery. Very happy with my purchase. It is difficult to replace and requires skill and patience. Some Flip 3 speakers were a little different in videos I reviewed before taking on the task of disassembly of the speaker.Restored mine to original sound quality and hours of operation before need to recharge.

Es una excelente opcion para darle mas vida a tu bocina, viene con sus herramientas de buena calidad, la bateria es ligeranmente un poco mas grande, casi nada, con un poco de presion queda perfecta, y tiene mas capacidad que la original, recomiendo la compra, estare actualizando la opinion sobre la durabilidad,1°- 23-12-2024

I have ordered this battery 3 times and have had OK luck. First battery lasted 2 years, 2nd 1 year, and now on the 3rd battery. Overall it allows me to keep the speaker out of the landfill a little longer. One tip is that I sealed back up the hole for the battery wire with hot glue but you need to make sure the wire is routed correctly and is held down or you will create a rattle in the driver side by that harness.
