Arrived on time and packaged wellCame with an RC case to carry and store.Does about 2 miles an hour max but battery holds up well, get about 40 min of drive time.Not great for outside use unless you have access to flat hard/concrete area because of very low profile- won't go on sand or grass.Can take a 6 volt or a 7.4 volt lipo/nano.Seems resilient and is still running, which is impressive around here.Overall good RC for a younger child.

I am a huge fan of the Mercedes AMG GTR and thought this would be a fun remote control car to play with my younger son. A few comments:* Great details on the car - it does a good job of imitating the GTR* Easy to use remote control - my son was racing it around the house in no time* Car lights turn on which is a nice detail* Good range on the remote - we didn’t quite test the advertised 80’ range but it was very farThe only two main complaints are the battery is a bit difficult to install and remove (which you will do a lot if you play with this often) and it is kind of expensive for this kind of remote-controlled car. (I’ll admit I didn’t investigate other models as I really liked the AMG GTR design.)

This thing is amazing!! I love this thing, and too bad I was planning on giving it to this family we adopted for Christmas. I will probably be getting myself one to keep on a shelf in my office.

This is technically for our niece, but my husband has done an excellent job of 'quality testing' it before she gets it for Christmas. It's a very cool remote control car, and I love how the headlights come on when it's moving. If you have a remote control car enthusiast in your life, this will make a great gift. I honestly don't know who will play with this more during the holiday - the kids or the adults.

The paint and painted decals are very nice overall. It has its own carrying case. I was surprised to see it using a Ni-Cd!? 300mAh 6 cell 6.0V (actual 6.28V) battery with a USB-A charging quick release adapter. The USB-A charger is 6VDC at 250MAh with a LED indicator in the USB plug. The remote is a 2.4GHz system requiring 2AA batteries that are not included. The battery pack is a bit snug to install but carefully folding the connector ends worked just fine. The forward and reverse controls are single speed only. The left and right controls similarly are only full lock in either direction.There is an adjustment for zeroing out the steering angle of the car. The front axle has independent suspension. Each wheel has a single spring with a plastic guide to allow a suspension travel of 2.28mm. The rear axle is a open differential setup which on carpet causes a bit of crabbing due to some differential slip. On a hard flooring surface it runs perfectly straight. The headlights turn on when going forwards and the brake lights turn when going in reverse.Overall the remote control is easy to use, the forward and reverse lights are a nice realistic design feature. I am a little concerned about the battery charging rate if the pack is in fact NiCd but I think the RC car price point is for Mercedes fans (or future ones) is good all things considered.
