Seems like a 1 star or 5 star type of item and no reason to dislike it. Worked well on my beer opener sign I made. My sign was pretty tall, but this provides a good amount of depth, so it still catching the cap, even if it starts to fall away from the board.All of these Catchers seem a little expensive for being bent sheet metal, but it is what it is. The spot welds are good and there were no burrs or excessively sharp corners, so overall, it was well machined.Attached a photo to the review as well: design done with white latex paint, using a stencil from weaponstencils.com, then applied stain to the entire thing, which gives the white paint, that aged/yellowed look.It seems to fill up fast...but I think that's more of a personal problem... :-P

I was BLOWN AWAY at the quality of this item when I opened the box. I was absolutely expecting a flimsy, sheet metal catch tray. This thing is fairly thick and VERY STURDY! From the material thickness, to the brushed finish to the stamped sides that keep everything 'flush' and ample spot welds ... winner all around! They even thought of having 4 small drain holes in the bottom to prevent beer from puddling up in the holder. The ONLY "miss" in this was the type of screws. They used flat head rather than pan head. I won't be using the screws anyways but it seemed like the wrong screws for this type of product IMHO. If/when I need another one of these I would 100% get THIS one! The only thing I might do is make the drain holes a little larger ONLY because of my application ... mounting it on the outside of a custom trailer so I really want ti to be able to drain water, beer, sand, etc... well.

This is a nice little catch. I was surprised to see the physical size when took shipment of this item as it is smaller than I imagined. However, it works well and is exactly what I wanted. The provided holes were not precision enough to allow for a level install without offsetting the height of the mounting screws. I'm overly OCD when it comes to things being 100% level, so it is likely that this may not be a problem for most. I do recommend you check before installing. Be careful not to install too close to the bottle opener as some wider bottles may not clear the catch when opening. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase.
