Made Swiss steaks in gravy when I got this to see how it would handle in all the heat settings. Browned a few lightly floured steaks on high heat to get a good crust and fond on the surface. Then I sweated some onions and green peppers on medium heat with some sliced mushrooms to help soak up some flavor and oil in the pan. Added a bit more flour and oil to get a rue going and started stirring in beef broth. Kicked up the heat to get a strong simmer and added back the steaks. Put the lid on and let it go for 40 min. Everything came out great. Being able to control the heat and have it respond so quick is great. When cleaning everything came off with just a bit of soapy water and a wipe.

I have never heard of this brand before but I was really impressed by the overall look of the product. At first glance I was taken back by how beautiful it is and questioned if it would work. I got some chicken breasts and went to begin my testing. I followed the instructions to ensure I prepped before using for the first time. Then I turned up the heat levels to the highest setting and it heated up quickly. The chicken did not stick and I didn't put oil, nonstick sprays, or anything. The nonstick worked fantastic. I covered the chicken and let it cook as I prepped all of the other things I was going to make for dinner. This skillet cooked the chicken perfectly in about 20 or less, I did turn the heat down so avoid it from burning. I was really surprised because it heats up pretty evenly and cooked very well. Once I was done, I was able to wash everything off without any issues. My chicken was marinated in chipotle sauce and that was not an issue for the great nonsticking abilities of this amazing skillet. Another thing I loved was how quickly it heated up and how easy it is to store, since you can store it standing up. There is also a place to rest the lid, so that it isn't awkwardly placed on the counter. I love this skillet and cannot wait to use it more often. I have a big family and this was the PERFECT size to feed us all and cook a big quantity. I love this skillet and wonder where it has been all of my life! This would make an amazing housewarming gift or christmas gift! 10/10

I love this so much! In fact, I basically love almost everything that Bella comes up to use in the kitchen. They're always sound quality products that are almost always what I need, including this electric skillet!The lid locks are pure perfection for me. I cook a lot for my friends and family, so it's nice being able to cook something where I can literally tote it and lock the lid in place when traveling. It's a great touch!The cooking unit is actually the base with handles and lock. The heating element unplugs from the unit. You can take the plug with you in case you need to heat back up, so it's great for traveling and storage.The size is amazing, and the non-stick part is fabulous. This is a no regrets purchase or present for a college student or someone that loves to cook!Now the somewhat bad part: Cleaning is easy, but it's bulk because the bottom does not remove. It's an all in one cooking appliance, but you can remove the temperature gauge and stuff...so it's a bit awkward to wash.

Didn't know anything about this brand, but I'm glad I took a chance. The skillet is well-made, with a few thoughtful touches. The lid locks work well; they slide open and closed easily and have a tactile stop so you know they're fully engaged. I thought storage of (another!) kitchen gadget was going to be a problem, but there is a place for the temperature dial and cord to store within the handle. And you can store the whole thing upright, on its side if you want.I found that it heats up very quickly and maintains an even temperature. The size was the biggest surprise. Description I've cooked a few things on this for which I would normally break out my jumbo saute pan. No problem, size-wise; it's very deep and has a large surface area. Cleaning was super easy. The lid is of course dishwasher safe, but I always was pots and pans in the sink. The actual cooking & heating part is NOT dishwasher safe (and do not separate), but it wiped clean easily. My only small concern is that food or sauce may get trapped under the handles or between the cooking surface and the base. I'll update if that becomes a problem.Overall, very happy I got this.

I love this electric skillet and its versatility. One day I was simmering 48 huge meatballs for an anniversary celebration and the next day I was boiling 3 lbs. of fresh green beans with bacon hammocks because I can do almost anything with this! In both of the side dishes I mentioned, I had room for plenty more because this skillet is huge but not difficult to transport or carry. The lid locks on for protection and I certainly gave that a test with both of these dishes and it passed with flying colors! It was easy to clean out and there was no lingering smell from the spicy meatballs when I fixed the green beans the next day. The color is neutral but very pretty. The only problem is now I could use an additional one!
