I purchased this VW Bug for my 2-1/2 year old grandson who loves the old Herbie movies. I painted 53 and racing stripes on the model so he could race along with the movies.So far, it's help up well.

I love this car. I bought it as a stocking stuffer for my husband since this was his first car. He loved it. We displayed it in the office. When our little grandson sees it, there will be a struggle for ownership. A child will love this for their collection also. Great product for the money. I would buy again.

Es un modelo bien hecho sin embargo es más pequeño que la palma de la mano, no leí bien las especificaciones del tamaño.

La pintura esta muy bien solo que vino un poquito mal pintado pero en fin el coche es lo mejor

My son really likes this car. The pull-back mechanism broke within days. He took it to school for show-and-tell and it fell off his desk and broke off a bunch of the little pieces. He enjoyed the car so much I felt bad and bought him another, and warned him to be more careful. He has been, but the bumper has fallen off. They look nice if you just want to have it sit somewhere, but just simply not durable enough for a child to actually play with.

So I'm not really sure where the comments are coming from about this car having "electronic lights and sounds" - it does not. I didn't care about this as I was just looking for a white Beetle model for my collection. Curiously, it has a battery compartment, which says "AG3x3".. I opened the compartment, but it was sized for six AG3 batteries which I installed. Even more curious, there were no metal contacts inside the compartment. Obviously the car did not make lights or sound (the description actually says it doesn't, to be fair). One last oddity, it clearly has a speaker grill on the bottom of the car, but it must be empty. The one function that it has is if you pull the car back on the floor, it will zoom off on spring power.This model is built for display and as such, a child would break or destroy it almost right away. Mine was packed in a thin plastic bag and then put in a cardboard box where it rattled around for thousands of miles, so one of the exhaust pipes had been broken off in shipment. I didn't bother with complaining or returning the item.Overall i'm relatively satisfied with it and it goes well with my other display VW's...

I and my brother are huge VW Bug fans, we've owned a few in our teen years and now we are at a stage in life where we want to have some nostalgia and have been drooling over a few that we see out there. If you are a fan you know that they are pricey. The last one my brother drooled over was $25k, not in the budget yet, so I bought this for his birthday. Yep it did exactly what I was hoping, gave him a laugh, and curbed the desire for a year on the real deal, a slammed, Cal'd VW Bug. Now the race is on to see who buys one first, probably him, his wife has approved the idea and mine hasn't. Oh well, I guess I continue to dream and modify my type NA Miata.
