I ordered the 4 foot version of the adapter cable.I'm using this cable to connect a set of earphones (IEM) to a headphone amplifier that only has a 1/4" stereo output. My IEM cable is pretty short as it was originally intended for use with a phone or portable audio player so I needed a cable that was both an adapter and could provide some extra length. This adapter cable meets that need. I can now connect up my IEMs without worrying about the cable being too short and interfering with items on my desk.The cable measures 48" between the plugs. The plugs are covered in a metallic shell and have a generous amount of strain relieve. The cable itself is nylon braided and measures approximately 5/32" in diameter. The braiding is not very dense, meaning the cable is quite flexible. A bit of the braiding has frayed on arrival which worries me a bit about its longevity.Overall this cable provides both the adapter and extension capability that I was looking for.

Looks nice but the quality is questionable. I been using it for about 4 month and recently I am experiencing consistent audio drops from the right ear :( and too late to return or replace
