I use this to make max 12 oz of coffee (a giant cup, or small pitcher) it is short so you can't put a large filter in it, but as long as you are not making a pot of coffee it works great!

I ordered this coffee dripper for an upcoming road trip with my kids. We always carry an electric kettle with us on road trips I was hoping to be able to have a cup of coffee in the hotel room while my family and I got ready for the day. This would not only start my day off right (hotel coffee usually sucks) but would also save me money.When the coffee dripper arrived, I was surprised 1) that it was ceramic and 2) it was so small. As you can see from the pictures, it's as tall as a playing card and just as wide. Though it is small, it still fits perfectly over my slightly-oversized coffee cup. It also fits the top of my travel thermos, which means I can brew directly into it and not lose precious heat.I did have 2 concerns when I saw it -- Filters - Being so small, I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find the filters for it locally....however, the #2 filters you can find at most local grocery stores fit perfectly in it. (See picture.)- Breakability - With the dripper being ceramic, I'm wary about breaking it during our travels. The good news is that it's comes in a pretty sturdy cardboard box that fits the dripper perfectly.All in all, I think this little dripper will be perfect for those times I'm traveling and want coffee.

I wanted to try hand drip coffee. This porcelain looks strong, and the design is pretty. The cream color is also pretty.Recommend as part of collection of coffee drippers.
