Bloqueo de tapa de puerto OBD2 de metal que funciona para todos los coches

Fantastic unit, i fitted this in a matter of minutes to my Toyota rav 4.First i screwed the tiny screws into the inner plate to make sure they went in ok and clean, after removing then i used a little of the white plastic tape provided to hold the inner plate in place where it goes over the lug on the obd2 port. The top cover just sits over and you can install the screws easy. I didn’t use the double sided tape.Then used one of the 4 supplied black tape to cover the screws. I highly recommend this unit to everyone.

The lock fits well and will certainly slow down any thief. It was easy to install and is easy to remove when necessary. I didn't use any tape (which comes with it) so that might mitigate some struggles other people have complained about. I recommend this product-it's one more layer of protection for our vehicles.

Product is a good deterrent.Some installations tips:1. Assemble unit prior to installing onto obd2 port to make sure screws fit properly to both outer case and inner plate.2. Keep screws on the outer case while removing the inner plate to make it easier to screw on the inner plate when connected to the obd2 port.3. Double sided tape provided seems sufficient since it’s only purpose is to keep the inner plate in place while connected to the obd2 port plastic latch and while being screwed onto the outer case.4. Be prepared for some trial and error in aligning the screw from the outer cast into the inner plate. The fit is not air tight so it takes patience to get it aligned properly. Once you get one screw in, the rest will easily screw in.Installation for me took around 20-25 minutes in total. It’s not that easy but my thinking is if it’s easy to put on, then it must be easy to remove so what’s the point? The product looks solid and difficult to remove without significant damage to the obd2 port. Be aware that should you need to access the port in the future, everything needs to be dismantled and the installation process needs to be done again.I would recommend this to those willing to invest a little bit of time and effort to secure their obd2 port. The plus side is this looks sturdy and hopefully discourages a would be thief to even proceed trying to access the port.
