This is a backpack you should buy only if a clear pack is specifically required. Otherwise there are better packs available for less money. This pack is a cheerful kids' version of a clear pack with its dinosaur backing. The straps are reasonably padded and the zippers work well. The buckles are plastic. There is one large main compartment and one smaller compartment with no further subdivisions, meaning everything will get jumbled at the bottom of the pack. The "insulated" lunch box is a joke, as it has insulation only around the short sides while the 2 large side panels are uninsulated clear plastic. It will hold food, though. I find this pack to be overpriced at $34; I would value it at about $20.

Nice backpack with a good feel to it. The walls are thick but not heavy- it seems to have a good weight to it and well made.
